Avarice

"Extreme greed for wealth or material gain."

Every Rose has it’s thorns

Save every life.No Matter the cost.
What does that mean when morals are lost?
In the depths you find her, Avarice.
The lurking unknown beast.
Wealth of knowledge is her vice of choice
Stealing away her Hero's voice.
But be not fooled by her cold display
She wants you alive despite your dismay.
Three rules will seal your fate
So listen well and do not take her bait.
The first is a challenge for thee
For what would one ask on death's door but mercy?
To live another day no matter the price
She will grant it even if its means are not right.
But do not give your her ire
For she will only give aid to those whose wounds are most dire.
The second rule she must concede
Is that you must give her permission to proceed.
It is your consent she is after
Despite her fits of laughter.
So remember my friend to reject her suggestions
Or else you may find you've been led to a dead end.
The final is that she will not fight
Unless you wish to show her patient your spite.
But should you be the first to attack
She will find no qualm in fighting back.
So be wary of the rose
For she always knows.
For she is a reflection of our good doctor
Twisting her choice for you to prosper.

Lady of the Dhem

Avarice is Lydia's Hyde, a creature of umbral magic that has been corrupting the woman for quite some time. With her entire left arm being long since lost to its influence.Lydia is however unaware of Avarice's existence along with the true extent of her corruption, and Avarice will do everything within her power to keep it that way.

"Avarice?"

A clever trickster, Avarice plays the Hero's ways against her. Resting where she knows the other would believe she'd passed out near or on. Gaps in memories explained away by sleep deprivation.

"The Hero knows only what I wish for her to."

Should you meet Avarice know she operates along the same lines a djinn, a person whose knowledge can offer you great power but will often twist it against you. She is bound by her three rules, ones she is unable to break.

"What fun is there in giving someone something they have yet to earn?"

She will not work on a patient that is not in danger of dying or has not lost something that will change their life indefinitely.

"Perhaps, though she does not know me, she fights in her endless nightmare to keep me at bay. Only you can let me have my way."

She can not work without consent. If consent is withdrawn she will work, within reason, to stop what she began.

"I am made from the hero, did you not think me ignorant of her claws?"

She will not fight unless herself or her patient is in danger.

Beware the monster just beneath

Dhemwyrn

The Dhemwyrn, or Dusk snake, are void manifestations that were birthed from muscles of Lydia's left arm. They are what is left of the limb and are ever loyal to Avarice. They can be great aid to the doctor, a toxin within their bodies offering a numbing solution to her patients or shutting down the nerves of those who seek her harm. The Dhemwyrn can even regenerate parts of Avarice's arm, should it be destroyed, reconnecting to put things back where they were.

"What is poison but an untouched cure yet to be distilled?"

They are not without limits however. They are her life blood, losing any is a great damage to her and can take days if not weeks to reform the lost creature. She experiences symptoms no different from blood loss and can be incompacitated should she lose them in excess."They are me as I am of them."

Dhemitar

"Struggle. I. Wait."

The Dhemitar is a mutation of a Dhemwyrn after it absorbed a corrupting force of aether introduced to the doctor by one of her patients. This creature causes far more damage when it makes itself known. Often emerging from the doctor's spine, the Dhemitar's only directive is the protection of its master. Avarice has little control over this creature and it can be a wildcard in the doctor's work.

Avarice will only be played upon request due to her descriptors and mannerisms edging on the NSFW and somewhat triggering side of things.
